Through My Eyes At 13

(First poem written)

Mommy, can you hear me? If you can, why don’t you reply?
Mommy, please don’t hit me, when you do, I start to bleed then cry.

I love you so much, mommy, but you never see,
Your eyes are already filled with hate, everytime you look at me.

Mommy, can you hear me? I’m begging on my knees,
Mommy, I’m calling your name, it’s dark and I cant see.

Mommy, please stop, it hurts, and I am scared
Please help me, mommy, I’m so lost and confused inside my head!

Mommy, I guess you can’t hear me, I’m lying here on the floor,
As I weep and struggle to breathe, you struck me again with zero remorse.

With your empty, broken promises, I cant help but love you still,
Why can’t you love me? If you don’t hear me now! More than likely then, you never will!

Mommy plz hear my cries,as the tears fall with a thunderous sound.
If you don’t hear or see me, tonight another child will die.

Yet another life, I loved you more than any space in time.
I waited for something that never showed up, at the front door day after day!

Mommy I hope u can hear me , my mind is fragile and im not ready for death today.
